State Labour Inspectorate (SLI) examines the reports and complaints about possible labour law and occupational safety and health law violations.

Individuals may submit requests to come to SLI using the official SLI e-mail address [email protected], send them by mail, fax, transfer over the confidence phone, electronically. Upon arriving at the SLI, requests may be submitted either in writing or orally.

Individual's requests submitted verbally, which can be answered immediately, without violating the interests of the person who applies, other persons or institutions, are not registered by SLI. If the person's oral request can not be answered immediately, the person should be able to formulate the request in writing.

Persons are accepted for consultations and information at the SLI divisions:

  • administrative (Algirdo str. 19, 03607 Vilnius),
  • Kaunas (Ausros str. 44, 44157 Kaunas),
  • Klaipeda (Taikos ave. 28, 91220 Klaipeda),
  • Siauliai (Dvaro str. 50, 76346 Siauliai),
  • Panevezys (Respublikos str. 38, 35173 Panevezys),
  • Utena (Ausros str. 2, 28241 Vilnius),
  • Alytus (Tvirtoves str. 1 / Naujoji str. 2 , 62113 Alytus),
  • Marijampole (Vytauto str. 17, 69299 Marijampolė),
  • Taurage (Zemaites str. 37, 72235 Taurage),
  • Telsiai (Respublikos str. 32, 87333 Telsiai).

Admission time: from Mondays to Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 12 a.m. and from 13 to 16; on Fridays from 9 to 12 and 13 to 15 hours.

Individuals requests and complaints for SLI are also accepted additionally two hours after the end of working hours on Wednesdays.

It is also possible to make an individual inquiry to the SLI electronically, which has to be created in a way that the SLI would identify the person and the contents of the inquiry. Individual inquiries submitted electronically are treated in the same way as written inquiries. Answers to the individual inquiries submitted this way are given to the person only to the indicated e-mail address.

At SLI persons are also served over the phone - that is a personal hearing, a clarification of the content of the request, providing information on issues concerning the procedure of resolving the question, providing names, phone number and consultation (reception) hours of the employees competent to investigate and resolve the the questions. Person's service phone number (+370 5) 213 9772.
